I The Environmental Information Science and Technology Laboratory of USTC was founded in 2017.

II Person in charge: Professor Huang Wei, (winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars)

III There are 1 professor, 3 special associate researchers, 3 PhD. candidates and 13 Master candidates in the Lab.

IV The research directions of the laboratory are deep learning, big data and high performance computing used in atmospheric environment and biological safety. The Lab. has undertaken a number of national programs and projects sponsored by National Key R&D Program of China,  National Key Scientific Instrument Development Program of NNSF, Major Program of NNSF, General Program of NNSF, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Special Fund for Repairing and Purchasing of the Ministry of Finance, and so on. The Lab. has published more than 100 papers and many are specifically reported by press medias and elected as magazine covers.  In addition,  13 invention patents have been applied and 24 software copyrights granted.
