To meet the major needs of national economic and social development, Advanced Sensing and Control Laboratory (ASCL) is aimed to solve important scientific problems in the fields of information sensing and processing, artificial intelligence, control and optimization. Conducting research on relevant basic theories and applied technologies, the Lab. is featured by interdisciplinary research, covering control theory, environmental detection and processing, machine learning, intelligent robots, etc. Since founded in 2012, the Lab. has run and participated in many programs, including National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program) and general and key projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China , winning the First Prize of Technical Progress Award for motor vehicle exhaust monitoring network of Ministry of Ecology& Environment of PRC., and the first prize for Scientific and Technological Progress Awarded by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and Chinese Association of Automation. In addition, there are many papers highly cited in ESI, which are written by the professors from Control Theory Research Laboratory.
